Last week, we worked on creating your own personal mission statement. Now it’s time to start writing your goals. Begin by breaking up your goals into categories. Typically, people break their goals into as few as three or as many as a dozen
categories.
Here are some categories you may want to think about: Personal, Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social, Emotional and Financial. For myself, I break my goals into four categories, Personal which includes family, home, personal growth, and hobbies, Career, (my business), Community and Physical. I also have a bucket list of things I want to do and places I want to visit before I die.
Over the next week make your own list of goal categories and start to write goals in each category. Remember, nothing happens unless you take action!
